LFE will take the lead management role for the whole project overseeing the logistical arrangements to ensure that all travel arrangements, insurance, visa’s and accommodation are in place, appropriate health and safety guidelines are set out and the necessary risk assessments have been undertaken.
There will also be in place the necessary contingency plans and support procedures/resources for any unexpected health, safety and/or welfare issues.
The responsibility for the supervision of the participants during the placement will fall to a core team of three people. This team will consist of the Head of Youth/Academy Manager, LFE Regional Officer and tour organisation Representative.
For the successful Clubs a detailed preparation pack and briefing session will be provided for all Apprentices and accompanying Club staff.
This will include information about the history, geography, economy and culture of the host region and the host Club, the specific aims and objectives of the project, contractual requirements and any disciplinary/health and safety messages.

Contracts will be drawn up upon selection of participating Clubs. These will be signed by LFE, the sending and receiving Clubs and will include reference to the financial transactions.
