The English Institute of Sport (EIS) and UK Sport are working together to recruit athletes onto targeted Olympic Talent Development programmes. Their aim is to provide athletes with an alternative elite sporting opportunity, fast track developmental timeframes and potentially the chance to contribute to Team GB success in 2012.
Pitch2Podium is an exciting programme created by UK Sport, the English and Scottish Institutes of Sport. The aim of the programme is to provide young football and rugby players who have been unsuccessful in securing a professional contract, with a second chance opportunity to succeed in a new Olympic sport.
