LFE have researched NASC/MLS Camps and confirmed that they are an organisation who will offer an excellent opportunity for you to coach in the United States and support you fully whilst you are there. We have also confirmed that they offer many opportunities for you to progress within the organisation.
Trainer Programs
NASC/MLS Camps concentrate on running 5 month trainer programs (July-November) and 9 month trainer programs (March-November) where coaches are responsible for co-ordinating, organising and facilitating soccer coaching for players aged 6-16 years old. As a Trainer, you will be the main contact for all soccer-related education and activities within a program.
Summer Camps
Alternatively NASC/MLS Camps employ coaches every year who are interested in summer camp coaching opportunities.

If you are interested in coaching in the US with NASC/MLS Camps you will need to apply online. Your application will result in an invite to a recruitment event held near to you.
If you are successful during the recruitment event you will then be invited to a regional coaching assessment day and finally out to coach in the United States.
Costs
The normal upfront cost to do this is £575 which increases to £675 if you pay in 3 instalments. However, your professional background in football and LFE’s partnership with NASC/MLS Camps means that this cost has been fixed at £575 even if you pay in 3 instalments.
The first instalment should be paid within 14 days of receipt of your Letter of Agreement from NASC/MLS Camps. The second instalment should be paid before the 31st January and the balance must be paid by the 31st March.
These costs will go towards processing your VISA and administering your flights etc but you will gain all of this back in wages whilst you are out there.

The only formal qualification that you will need is a Level 1 Coaching qualification but the following attributes would be desirable:
1. Apply:
If you want to pursue this opportunity all you need to do is go online and apply via www.mlscamps.com/employ
NB. It is important that when answering the question “How did you hear about NASC/MLS Camps” you click “Other” and write in “League Football Education”.
2. Recruitment Event:
Your application will result in an invite to a Recruitment Event held near to you. Once you have completed the online application form you will be sent, via email, a calendar of recruitment events being held around the country.
3. Coaching Assessment Day:
If you are successful during the Recruitment event you will then be invited to a coaching assessment day (Held in the North, Midlands, South and Ireland) and finally out to coach in the United States as early as March.
