The summer of 2012 will see another crop of young Apprentices and first year Professionals released from Football League Clubs and we know that over 25% will end up in the Non-League game.
Held in conjunction with The PFA and The Football League, over 225 players attended four regional events last May. Expanding each season the 2011 events expect to showcase the talents of over 250 players. With this quantity and quality of player available on your doorstep – can you afford not to be there?

Based on previous Scout feedback LFE will produce a list of the players who have registered an interest to attend the trials. This will enable you to see a number of key pieces of player information that hopefully will confirm these events are not to be missed. This document will be available here prior to the trials.
Please note: This document will show all the players who have registered an interest to attend only.
All individuals are subject to eligibility checks before having their place confirmed. Please click here to view the full eligibility policy. LFE endeavours to accommodate the players first choice of venue but depending on demand this cannot always be guaranteed.
A comprehensive player profile document will also be made available on the day of the trials, along with the finalised team sheets.
LFE have developed a partnership with E-Scout who deliver an exciting and innovative video analysis service for Apprentices. E-Scout collect footage from players throughout the season as well as at the Assessment Trials which is then made available to Scouts using their online facility.
The searchable player footage will be available after the trial games at www.e-scout.tv. If you have any queries please contact E-Scout directly on: contact@e-scout.tv or 07545 697033.
The Assessment Trials continue to provide the starting point for the next steps in the football career for many ex Apprentices as the following stories show:
Jack Werndly
Striker Jack Werndly was released by Norwich City in the summer of 2011. The youngster moved to Carrow Road from West Ham United as a seventeen year-old but failed to earn a professional deal from Nigel Worthington. A strong performance in the Midlands at LFE’s Assessment Trials drummed up interest from several clubs with Glasgow Rangers FC being one of the first to offer the forward a trial. A successful trial spell saw Werndly sign a one year contract at Ibrox.
Bagasan Graham
Shown the door by Queens Park Rangers at the end of his Apprenticeship in June 2011, Bagasan Graham attended LFE’s Assessment Trials where he did enough to impress two Football League clubs as well as several UK & USA Universities. Among those admirers was Cheltenham Town’s Assistant Manager Neil Howarth who invited the fleet-footed winger for pre-season training. The 19 year-old shined throughout his trial at Whaddon Road and signed a one year deal with the League Two outfit.
