Youth Players All Over ‘The One And Only’

Preston North End have let their Youth team players loose on Saturday’s edition of ‘The One And Only’ match-day programme for the clash against Roy Keane’s Ipswich Town.

With the FA Cup fifth round game just a week away PNE have let four of the heroes from the last round, skipper George Miller, scorers Jamie Proctor and Neil Dougan and penalty-saving stopper Dominic Comrie write the editorial.

Aussie Bailey Wright talks about reading and his life down under in one of our guest editorial comment pieces and Man Utd fan Ryan McGreevy gives his thoughts on Red Devils legend Roy Keane.

Preston fans will also hear from Conor McLaughlin about his new contract and being introduced to the crowd at the Chelsea game, along with a four-page spread of reaction and photos to the fourth round win at Sunderland last week.

As well as that, the programme will feature an extended interview with PNE fan and multi-million selling author Jospeh Delaney – the man behind the Spooks books, currently being turned into a Hollywood movie by Warner Bros.

In the 12-page visitors section there will be an interview with former Tractor Boys legend and ex-PNE loan player Alex Mathie and look back on an encounter between the two sides in the FA Cup back in Ipswich’s heyday when Bobby Robson was leading them to glory on all fronts.

The usual columnists of the Manager Darren Ferguson, Mark Lawrenson, Neil Mellor, Eddie Wolstenholme, women’s skipper Sarah Berry and the Lancashire Evening Post’s Dave Seddon will still feature to give their view on North End and all the footballing issues of the week.
