Registration for the 2013 Assessment Trials is now open for Scouts only. Scouts can register to attend via the online form which can be accessed through the Trials section of the Progression website.
Run by LFE in association with The PFA and The Football League, the Assessment Trials provide the perfect opportunity for players who have not been offered professional terms at their existing clubs to showcase their talents.
This year’s Assessment Trials will be held on a regional basis over a number of days at the following locations:
- Thursday 2 May 2013 – Rochdale AFC (North)
- Tuesday 7 May 2013 – Staines Town FC (South)
- Wednesday 8 May 2013 – St George’s Park (Central)
- Thursday 9 May 2013 – St George’s Park (Central)
Approximately 250 players attended four regional events last May and the 2013 events expect to showcase the talents of another 250.
LFE invites representatives from Premier League, Football League and Non League Clubs in the UK, European Clubs and Further and Higher Education institutions both in the UK and abroad to attend the Trials to see this crop of Apprentice players and first-year professional players released by Football League clubs.
