Gallery: Coaches Trip in Spain

A quartet of academy coaches from English Football League clubs spent five days in Spain for a trip organised by League Football Education to share ideas between Spanish and English coaches regarding different methods of developing young talent.

Ciaran Donnelly (Fleetwood Town), Eric Ramsay (Shrewsbury Town), Duncan Fearnhead (Accrington Stanley) and Callum Lester (Grimsby Town) were selected for the trip – which is fully subsidised by the Erasmus+ fund.

The group were exposed to models of Sevilla, Real Betis, Granada CF, Malaga and Andalusian FA coaches during their visit, attending numerous training sessions and team meetings, as well as the Champions League Youth and Senior fixtures between Sevilla and Liverpool.
