Darkwah Inspires FC Halifax Comeback

Stockport County youngster Cameron Darkwah scored a 90th minute equaliser on his FC Halifax debut as the Shaymen came from behind to stun fellow Blue Square North promotion rivals Worcester City.

With Worcester leading 1-0 as the game went in to injury time Darkwah capitalised on a scramble in the six-yard box to fire home from 5 yards out. And the turnaround was complete 3 minutes later when Lee Gregory hit a dramatic winner.

Darkwah joined FC Halifax last Friday after seeing his opportunities at Edgeley Park limited following the signing of Danny L Rowe on loan from Fleetwood Town.

The 19-year-old forward has already made an impact in a similar loan deal earlier this season, scoring 7 goals in 8 appearances for Evo-Stik First Division North outfit AFC Mossley.
