ASE Graduates Join The Terrors

Ryman League Premier Division Club Tooting & Mitcham United have brought in two promising ASE graduates from Championship Clubs.

Millwall defender Pat O’Connor and Queens Park Rangers youngster Elliott Cox have joined the Terrors on loan.

Republic of Ireland Youth international O’Connor has yet to make a full appearance for the Lions, despite starting two pre-season games for Kenny Jackett’s men.

He missed much of last season having damaged his cruciate knee ligaments during the summer of 2009. However, he returned to Reserve team action towards the end of the season and is now aiming to push his way into the senior squad on a regular basis this time around.

Fellow teenager Cox only signed his first professional contract with QPR at the end of last season.

The young winger, who impressed for the Under-18’s last season, penned a one-year deal towards the end of May.

Cox, was an integral member of the Youth side that won the Football League Youth Alliance Cup Final last season.

Both join Tooting on month-long deals in a bid to play regular football.
