Charlton Athletic Apprentices Tamer Tuna, Yado Mambo, Carl Jenkinson and Harry Pell have all left the Valley to gain first team experience on work experience.

Under the terms of the deals, which are slightly different to loan arrangements and apply to younger players, the quartet, who all played in Charlton’s FA Youth Cup campaign this term, are still able to return to SE7 and represent the Addicks if required.

Tuna and Mambo have joined Blue Square South Club, Staines Town, Jenkinson is at fellow Blue Square South Club Welling United, while Harry Pell has signed for Ryman Premier Division outfit Hastings United.

Speaking about his move, Pell said:

“I’m really looking forward to getting a first taste of first-team football, it will be a good experience as they are sitting second in the league.”

“Hopefully I can help keep them challenging at the top of the table, and I’m looking forward to improving my own game.”
