The new season signals the return of LFE’s Goal of the Month and eight fantastic goals have made the cut to get the competition underway for the 2017-18 campaign.
This month has been dominated by precise volleys, with Luton Town’s Arthur Read and Portsmouth pair Freddie Read and Matt Mayes all converting stunning efforts.
Cambridge United defender Jordan Norville-Williams showcased his ability from set-pieces with a pinpoint free-kick, while winger Liam Sole (MK Dons) finished off a jinking run with unerring accuracy.
Finlay Sinclair-Smith (Blackpool) and Harry Benns (Port Vale) are also in the mix after finding the top corner with powerful long-range strikes, as well as Nottingham Forest’s prolific midfielder Will Swan, who combined neat footwork and strength to create the space to rifle a shot into the roof of the net from a tight angle.
Voting will remain open until noon on 28 September. You can vote for your favourite goal via our online poll or via Twitter using the hashtag attached to each goal.
