Day 26 – Beam Me Up Scottie!

Early start this morning with having to meet Ed at the surgery/clinic. The scan was straight forward but boring. I was made to lie perfectly still in just my socks and a linen gown while they took numerous scans from various positions. Needlessly to say I was a bit chilly!! It’s all very strange as well as you can imagine, you feel like you’re about to go into a scene from Star Trek or something as you lie on a slab/stretcher type apparatus and your body is slowly inserted into the depth of the scanning apparatus!

It will take a few days for my results to come back because they need to be reported and analysed for any possible anomalies by the radiologist. For the rest of the day I continued to carry on with my regular programme of a 30-minute bike and gym work.
