As part of the ASE programme the Apprentice will also undertake the 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football (UEFA B Part 1).

This is a compulsory element of the programme and the Apprentice will undertake a number of units that include:

• Coaching Principles and Ethics
• Coaching Sessions
• Conducting Coaching Sessions
• Reviewing Coaching Sessions

As well as underpinning the work on the NVQ the coaching qualification offers the benefit of receiving a formal and recognised qualification.
